The official holiday of skateboarding. June 21, 2008 will be the first GSD to take place in Jordan, be sure not to miss out on it. Two different venues:Hussien Park-Fountain area (cultural village)-3 - 5 - 8 at the parks extension (past the king hussien medical center)Shari' Thqafeh (Shmeisani)-Benches and 4 set where it goes down everyday!If you havent been on a board in a while, or just started out, it doesn't matter! Get out and skate thats what its all about!Best trick at each skate jam gets a prize!And hey its registered with the GSD organization:http://www.goskateboardingday.org/events.asp?id=8705The events schedule:1:00pm - 2:00pm : best trick jam at the fountains area (big three and bank)2:00pm - 2:30pm : skate to the 3-5-8 (show the city whats going on!)2:30pm - 3:30pm : best trick jam at the 3-5-8 (three set five set eight set)3:30pm - 4:00pm : leave Hussien Park, meet at Culture street four set area4:00pm - 5:00pm : best trick jam on the four set5:00pm - 6:00pm : best line (one trick on a bench, one trick on the four set in a line)Like mentioned above, best trick at each spot gets a prize!Whoever gives it there best on saturday is going home best skater of the day, with a deck courtesy of batata skateshop!Oh yea, if you don't skate, or if you're not interested in skateboarding in the first place, please don't come! thanks"
